Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures

- Reviewed on  GameCube  - Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures released on September 6th, 2004. The Cabela's video game series has always been a hit or miss to some people (including myself).  At the end of the day, these games are about capturing the real-life thrill of the sport, hunting.  Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures takes you on an adventure through your typical landscapes and puts you in the shoes of a renowned hunter.  This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... The story of Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2005 Adventures is pretty simple and easy to understand.  The plot is (SPOILER) about you going place to place, hunting animals and collecting trophies, to earn a spot in the Hunter's Hall of Fame. Your characters grandfather dreamt of this accomplishment, but an accident causes him to give up that goal.  A pretty self-explanatory story I must say, but it does give the player(s) a pu...

Mario Party 7

- Reviewed on  GameCube  - Mario Party 7 released on November 7th, 2005. Mario and his friends are back at it for more Mario Party fun! Releasing back in 2005, Mario Party 7 is filled with great party boards, unlockables, characters, and much more! Though it released on the GameCube, I can safely say, MP7 still holds up to the level of enjoyment from back then. This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... The party boards are also, loosely based on, landmarks from around the world.  How is Bowser involved? Well, he wasn't invited and now wants his revenge.  I actually respect Hudson Soft (one of MP7's developers) and Nintendo for going this direction, giving Bowser a valid (evil) reason to ruin the fun for some players.  One of my favorite things to do first in a Mario Party title (as of writing...

Batman: Arkham Origins

- Reviewed on  PS3  - Batman: Arkham Origins released on October 25th, 2013. WB Games Montreal and Splash Damage (the Developers of Batman: Arkham Origins) did their absolute best to recapture the magic, Batman games possess for its players.  The developers had quite the challenge ahead of them considering the high standards, Rocksteady Studios, set with Batman: Arkham Asylum & Batman: Arkham City. Fortunately, for me, WB Games Montreal and Splash Damage, both did their job extremely well and definitely recaptured the magic during my experience.  This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... Batman: Arkham Origins takes place during the midwinter, within Gotham City.  Adding snow to a dark spirited, superhero (vigilante) universe definitely makes Batman: Arkham Origins standout immediately for its unique / themed setting.  In the beginning of Batman: Arkham Origins, you are sent to Blackgate, a fictional...
