South Park: Phone Destroyer

South Park: Phone Destroyer released on November 9th, 2017.

Keeping in touch with the classic South Park humor, South Park: Phone Destroyer is a very fun / exciting mobile game that is free for anyone to download specifically on IOS and Android.

This review WILL have Major Spoilers so keep that in mind before continuing...

With such a long and rich history, South Park has become the most famous adult cartoon ever in the television industry. Now, South Park Digital Studios is bringing the mayhem to mobile devices!

As a fan of South Park personally, I would definitely recommend anyone (of appropriate age) to check out this free mobile game (with transactions included).

The overall goal of South Park: Phone Destroyer is to collect cards and battle other players around the world in PVP (player vs player) action.

My experience with the PVP battles in this mobile game were very enjoyable!

It was surprisingly addictive and I kept wanting to play over and over again and South Park: Phone Destroyer rewards you handsomely for your time spent in the game!

You go through ranking systems (tiers) and after winning / destroying other peoples phone's (in-game), you can eventually get PVP Packs and Tier Rewards.

Rewards vary from Character Cards, to Coins, to Dollar Bills, and even Upgrade Items to level up your already owned Cards.

After every PVP match (and story mode level) you get to select 3 lockers with random loot in each locker.

You can watch ads to get extra rewards or pay with your Dollar currency to get a fourth locker pick.

Dollar Bills are like the Gems in other mobile games, rare (to get a lot at once) but extremely useful.

Ads are normally a pain for mobile game players, but I am so happy to say that you rarely (if ever) have to watch ads in South Park: Phone Destroyer! If you don't care about a fourth locker pick for example, or you don't want to speed up anything, you may never have to watch a single ad during your game time!

One negative thing about South Park: Phone Destroyer is the wait time for when you collect a PVP Card Pack.

After collecting 5 Phone's during PVP battles, you can open a Card Pack with very helpful content, however after you do so, you have to wait 3 plus hours in order for the count to reset and achieve the goal again.

Like mentioned earlier, this mobile game also has a story mode where you can collect major character cards and also view newly made scenes just for the game.

Nothing special in terms of the story mode in my opinion but you also can collect outfits for your very own South Park character which I thought was a very good idea to suck players into the story even though this mobile game's true shine is within PVP battles.

At the end of the day, South Park: Phone Destroyer is a very addictive / enjoyable game to play and it does not have that much storage space so you can have this game work smoothly even if your running out of storage on your phone like I did / was.

Pros

    - Same South Park Humor
    - Addictive Gameplay
    - Optional Ads
    - Generous Amount of Rewards
    - Customizable Character(s)

Cons:

    - Long Wait Time for New Reward Pack (PVP)
    - Lackluster Story Mode

My Rating for South Park: Phone Destroyer (on Mobile):

4 / 5
