Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

- Reviewed on  PS4  - Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown released on January 18th, 2019.  The Ace Combat series has been a very popular combat, flight simulator series for all ages.  I grew up playing only one of these games on the PlayStation 2, and Ace Combat 7 is my first official experience in the series, that did not disappoint.  This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... Sure, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, might not be 100% realistic, but the atmosphere Bandai Namco developed, really emersed me during every single mission, in the 11-and-a-half-hour campaign (approximately).  The main story surrounds the ongoing conflicts between Osea and Erusea.  After (SPOILER) Erusea sends out a major threat, that being combat drones, the tensions start to rise and that's where you come in, as the main protagonist, to end the war.  You play as a muted character (pilot) named Trigger.  By muted I mean, your ...

Minecraft

- Reviewed on  PS4  - Minecraft released on November 18th, 2011.  No one can underestimate the impact Minecraft has had on the gaming industry.  For over a decade now (as of writing this blog post), Minecraft has stayed continuously updated and provides gamers of all experience levels, a fun and investing time in their own sandbox world.  Whether you want to beat the game, or just build to your hearts content, Minecraft is the absolute definition of infinite possibilities (in my opinion).  This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... For those who somehow, don't know what Minecraft is about, Minecraft is an open world, sandbox title that allows you (and many others in multiplayer) to do anything you possibly want to do.  The basis of Minecraft is to mine for essentials like ore, and also build (craft) what you need / want, hence the name "Mine Craft".  There are multiple game modes for you to choo...

Bendy and the Ink Machine

- Reviewed on  PS4  - Bendy and the Ink Machine released on February 10th, 2017. I had my eye on this game for a while, and finally getting to explore this world of "Ink" is definitely a fun / positive experience (gaming wise), but it has its negatives as well unfortunately.  This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... Starting with the most obvious feature of Bendy and the Ink Machine... the graphics in this game are so pleasant and enjoyable to look at.  I love the way this whole game plays out (besides the ending scenes) with only showing a certain color palette.  Bendy and the Ink Machine consists of dark tones involving brown, black, grey, and the occasional dark yellowish tones.  The story of Bendy and the Ink Machine, is almost at its potential I believe (in my opinion).  This is one of my major issues with Bendy and the Ink Machine, I feel like its potential could've had much more in the final...
