The House of the Dead: Remake

- Reviewed on  PS4  - The House of the Dead: Remake released on April 7th, 2022. With the original game being released all the way back on September 13th, 1996, this remake strived to capture the originals over the top depiction of zombies, and crazy, horrifying monsters in a mansion. I never played the original game (as of writing this blog post), but this Remake of the original House of the Dead, did a good job with its graphics, atmosphere, and music.  Unfortunately, the gameplay wasn't to my liking.  This review WILL have  Major Spoilers  so keep that in mind before continuing... The House of the Dead: Remake (for PS4) uses two different control schemes, each one depicting a truly different and defining way of playing this (average) hour long game.  You can use the normal PS4 controller, or do what I did, and use the PS4 Move Controllers.  The Move Controllers were fun at first, but I soon found out that constantly shooting and reloading ...

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

- Reviewed on  Switch  - Super Mario Bros. Wonder released on October 20th, 2023.  With a lot of players worldwide growing tired of the same 2D Mario, platformer formula, Super Mario Bros. Wonder brought in a ton of gameplay enhancements and also added new gameplay features never before seen in the streamline Mario (2D) series. From the very beginning, you can tell how much love, time, and effort was put into Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and it resulted in such a joyful time filled with amazement, shock, challenges, and more!
