Just A Regular Arcade
- Reviewed on Mobile -
The music in this little mobile game is amazing also!
Some of the games in this collection have different controls such as Racki The Wishmaker which requires you to either tilt the phone (device) to move Muscle Man or use your finger(s).
Just A Regular Arcade released on October 15th, 2015.
This mobile game that consists of seven mini games (as of writing this) is based off the Cartoon Network classic, Regular Show.
This review WILL have Major Spoilers so keep that in mind before continuing...
Regular Show is one of my favorite tv shows of all time, even as an adult and when I got this game I was ready for some very fun games to get addicted to and play non stop, however that is not exactly how it went down.
This mobile game called Just A Regular Arcade consists of multiple games, these games are (as of writing this)...
- Future Blast
- Racki The Wishmaker
- Put the Hurt on Him
- Escape from the Moon
- Winging It
- Destroy the Destroyer
- Ride 'em Rigby
Almost all these mini games are spinoffs of some iconic episodes of Regular Show which I really enjoyed finding out as I played each.
If you like EDM music, then you will love all the music in this collection.
Earlier I mentioned these games were not addicting to me and I did not play them non stop, although true, that doesn't mean I didn't like them, I actually did as they included real characters from the show and voice acting believe it or not!
I appreciate the fact that this game has achievements as it gives the players something to play for besides high scores.
In games like Future Blast and Racki The Wishmaker, you can also collect coins to buy upgrades and boosts.
Just A Regular Arcade has the same art style as the tv show which really immerses the players into the world of Regular Show.
This adds more variety for different playstyles because some might like finger controls more than tilt controls (like myself).
Longevity is a major factor for me when it comes to video games and this game really is the only game (as of writing this) where the longevity can be different depending on who you are and how you like your games.
If you like short and fun mini games to pass time, this game is perfect especially if you love Regular Show but although fun, these games to me at least, aren't addicting and I tend to take long breaks in between playing this mobile game (collection).
Pros:
- Amazing Music
- Same Art Style as TV Show
- Voice Acting
- Many Games to Choose From
- Characters from TV Show
- Achievements
Cons:
- Bad Longevity (For Me At Least)
- Not Very Addicting
- Lots of Ads
My Rating for Just A Regular Arcade (on Mobile):
3 / 5
